EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.-The Chris Cook to the active list, ending a suspension without pay after two weeks. But Cook will not be able to play on, train or even at the team facility while he dealt with charges of felony domestic assault.
"We really think it's the best for him to focus on legal issues and not be part of what we are doing now," coach Leslie Frazier said Monday after the decision was announced.
The Vikings agreeing action by Cook and his agent, Hadley Engelhard, Cook 24 years can focus on the situation of the field.
"We want him to put the energy and effort into the case," Frazier said, sounding as though Cook has played his last snap 2011 season. "It's hard to say that we will see him again given what he faced, but we'll see what happens."
